Overview

Messaging 150 delivers scalable advanced messaging to growing small and mid-sized businesses. Business sites with 32-300 users receive Voice Mail, Basic Call Center and two free seats of Desktop Messaging. Messaging 150 also supports advanced applications such as Digital Networking and Centralized Voice Mail ideal for small and mid-sized standalone and multi-site businesses

Technichal Specifications
  • Compatible with Norstar integrated communications systems: Modular ICS (Release 4.1, or higher) and Compact ICS (Release 4.1 or higher) software
  • Compatible with all Norstar Telephones and Business Series Terminals
  • Switch connection: four RJ-11 cables
  • Each cable supports two TCM connections
  • Each TCM connection supports up to 2 channels (TCM0 cable supports channels 0&2; TCM1 supports channels 1&3)
  • No switch configuration required because its digital integration with the switch.
  • The platform uses 9V DC from an external AC adapter.

Features:

  • 8-Ports x 20 Mailboxes.  
    Start at 20 mailboxes and can be activated up to 300 mailboxes. 59 hours is the total storage time with 192 MB compact flash card and 82 hours of storage time when 256 MB compact flash card is used.
  • Automated Attendant. Auto Attendant answers your telephone and takes messages for everyone in your company. Standard feature options include call transfer, calling name display, CCR levels (10), CCR trees (4), dial extension from CCR, external transfer on Centrex, flexible line rings before answer, multiple operators, remotely record greeting, remotely set business open/closed, reply based on calling line ID, reports, transfer to CCR tree
  • Voice Messaging. Popular features include auto answer with personal greeting, broadcast messages, delivery options (private, urgent, etc.), express messaging, guest mailboxes, interrupt caller leaving a message, never-full mailboxes, outbound transfer from mailbox, record a call, recovery of deleted message, remote call forward to voice mail, reports
  • Easy Administration and Maintenance. Built-in auto sensing 10/100 Ethernet port and complete web-based management with a user-friendly graphical user interface simplifies system administration and maintenance - all you need is a web browser.
  • Easy application upgrades. Risk free application trials allow you to try and buy only the applications you’ve tested and approved. All applications are embedded and are quickly and easily activated with key-codes common to Norstar Call Pilot 150 Messaging 150, BCM, and Meridian Call Pilot, making mailbox expansions and additions a snap. Examples are, unified messaging; fax messaging, and Nortel Norstar Call Center. Call Centre basic and Call Center with reporting is available.
