The Station Message Detail Recording Device Version 6 (SMDR6) is an adjunct unit that monitors call activity on the Norstar system and reports activity to any standard RS-232 device. The SMDR6 provides call-by-call service reporting for PRI lines, and reports DNIS in both Norstar CLID and Norstar real-time formats. It also provides Automatic Number Identification (ANI) and CLASS-based calling line identification information in standard record timing as well as in real-time mode. The SMDR6 provides full functionality with all types of trunking utilized by the Norstar and Norstar-PLUS systems, including PRI trunks introduced in the Compact ICS 4.0. The SMDR6 is compatible with all Norstar KSUs (DR2 to DR5 software versions), all Norstar-PLUS Modular ICS software versions and all Compact ICS software versions.
